i just upgraded my ram to 64 gb but it is bottlenecked at 2166 instead of 3200, my assumption is ill need to upgrade the motherboard and cpu and possibly the powersupply. any suggestions? i want a amd ryzen 3000 series cpu. here is my specs.

 

CPU: Intel Core i7-6700 - 65.6%

GPU: Nvidia GTX 1070 - 74.9%

SSD: Spcc Solid State Disk 512GB - 30.3%

SSD: WDC WDS100T2B0B-00YS70 1TB - 74.7%

HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 2TB - 23.8%

HDD: Seagate Barracuda 4TB (2016) - 89.3%

RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3200 C16 2x16GB - 67.9%

MBD: Dell XPS 8910

Wait for zen 3 

Sky lake does not necessarily benifit a whole lot from faster ram

Set the vccio and vccsa to 1.1 and try 2666 

If that was possible use memtest86 and OCCT to verify that it's stable.

If your satisfied with the current performance of your rig then wait.
