[Solved] HP NC523SFP QLE3242-HP on a non-hp server?

I want to put this network card between my pc and my server since I have seen it for about $ 30 on aliexpress. But I don't know if I can put it on my normal computer and my server

Can't 100% say for this specific card but I've used alot of HP gear in non HP servers. I found the easiest way to use it is to have a HP Service Pack for Proliant disc available and to pull the drivers/software off that. I've not run into any cards or hardware that is specifically locked to HP hardware itself.
