$150 gaming pc issues

So I followed the the $150 gaming PC build (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J8ja79SlA-g). I did everything the video said, And my PC boots. However as soon as I plug in the graphics card there's no boot. The graphics card is a gtx 750ti with acx cooling. I figured it might be a psu wattage issue so I used a different power supply. Still no boot. pls help. Reddit didn't...

Have you tried a different card? Could be a dead slot.

By "no boot" do you mean the machine is 100% unresponsive? As in, fans don't spin, no beeping, etc?
Or are the fans spinning and you just don't see anything on screen?

 

If it's the later, did you plug the video output cable(hmdi) onto the GPU instead of the motherboard?

If it's the former, what is the wattage of the powersupply used?

It dosent post, the fans spin on the gpu. the power supply is the 245w from the dell optiplex 380. I also tried a external psu too, and that didn't work either. Yes i plugged the hdmi into the gpu. wym former and later? I only have this one gpu to test. I bought it used and it said working.
