Data trnasfer

I need ti transfer about 35GB data (mainly emails and small size files) to another HDD. Data is in a M.2 SSD but the problem is I have to transfer is to a HDD. The transfer speed is too low as I am transferring it to a HDD. 

 

 Now my question, is there any way to transfer those data in more faster way (saving it in my HDD)?

How do you transfer it? Over USB? SATA? 

 

HDD's really can't go any faster than ~120mb/s but with many many small files that number will tank down massively. You are pretty much stuck to what you are doing. 

 

 

Edit: you could zip all that jazz and then transfer it. Transfer should be faster but you'd have to spend the processing time to zip it plus the processing again to unzip. Not sure if it'll be faster.

FastCopy can copy as fast as possible and you can save few percent of your time, but don't expect miracles.
