Hey guys,

I recently upgraded my PC and realised the task manager was only showing 4 logical cores, so after heading into msconfig - I deselected the number of processors (which apparently worked for some people). Upon rebooting my PC I was hit with a BSOD (system thread exception not handled) which then changed to a 'bad system config info'. I've tried everything in repairs - and it won't let me reset windows. Is there anyway to fix this? Or do I have to get a new CPU (was bought from a legitimate seller).

SPECS

CPU: i9 9900KF

MOBO: ROG Strix z390 H

RAM: 4x8 Corsair Vengeance Pro

GPU: Strix 2080ti

PSU: some 700W supply
