Hello,
I'm building my new pc and plan to have a triple monitor setup. I will also have a games console connected to the centre monitor. Is there any way to connect the computer and the games console to a set of speakers. So for example I could play on the games console (Centre monitor) whilst playing YouTube on another monitor. (recommendations for which speakers, preferably with a sub)
Thanks in advance and kind regards
James

There should be separate outputs for audio and video on a pc, so for a pc it wouldn’t be a problem.  For a console it would depend on the console.  Many have separate audio out

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.

so your are asking for a sound setup that will play 2 different sources simultaniously? whats the budget?

so maybe that kinda thing int for you but i personally would get a used logitech z906 and be done with it. can be found used for around 100 bucks (at least around here) and for the money i dont know how you could do better imo. also that would cover up to 6 different audio sources so im guessing thatll work but i have no idea how consoles handle their audio having never owned one.

"You know it'll clock down as soon as it hits 40°C, right?" - "Yeah ... but it doesnt hit 40°C ... ever  😄"
