Hey guys,

So I'm looking at getting the 250D to replace my Prodigy (assuming this will work), and I'm looking into keeping it as silent as possible. This means CPU/GPU in full WC loop. The 250D supports the 240mm radiators as we all know, but the dilemma I face at the moment is having an ASUS motherboard with a PCB riser. I've looked into it as much as I can from videos but I just can't find sturdy evidence of a 30mm rad with 25mm fans, installed with a MB with a riser board, touching.

The best I've found is TastyPC's video where she had a whinge about it installed with a Noctua fan in push config, and said there was noises and whatnot.

My question is this:

Has anyone in the LTT community built into a 250D yet? Have they encountered the same issues as this? If I were to put the fans in a pull config, would the radiator pressing up against the PCB riser cause heat issues?

I realise the H100i fits nice and snug, and that is my last resort (behind getting GELID 15mm fans, which I'm not too keen on).

A H100i is 27mm thick, not 30mm. This is a huge distance if it was touching and causing issues with a H100i.

Sorry mate, should have been clearer - TastyPC installed a standard 30mm rad with 25mm fans and that would trouble, whereas the 27mm H100i fits in nicely. I don't really want to go down that course as I don't want the GPU fan whine.
