First of all my specs:

CPU: R5 1600

GPU: gtx 1070 aero

RAM: Corsair vengeance lpx 2133mhz ddr4 4gb x 4

PSU: Fractal design Effekt 500w

MOBO: Asus tuf b450 gaming plus

SSD: Samsung 250gb EVO 860

Second, i want to declare things ive tried:

Using one ram stick in a different slot each time i booted pc.

Changing the cable to monitor to other dvi cable or hdmi.

Change monitor settings to dvi.

Reseat the cpu.

Change mobo.

Reset mobo.

Pull out the battery on mobo.

Things i am going to try:

Get a new power supply.

Use a older cpu to see if mine is at fault.

Probably update bios and get a boot kit from amd (thats what asus support told me) and (they told that my mobo should be compatible with my cpu out of the box)

Third:

The monitor is fully functional, aswell as the cables i am using.

I just wanted to upgrade the mobo and the cpu from my previous mobo and cpu that was intel based.

Graphics card works fine, and every cable was connected propertly on the mobo. And yes pcie connectors are connected to the gpu.

No i have not plugged in the video cable to the mobo.

What do i do guys, ive been browsing forum after forum with no positive outcome already in two weeks. What could really be the problem? Dead cpu?

i would say bios update

It's a 1600 with a B450 motherboard, there is no reason it should need a bios update unless the one on the board is completely borked, but then again OP has tried multiple boards. I'm leaning more towards the CPU itself. Depending on how the GPU was tested it could also be the issue, make sure to test it in a separate system to be sure.

Main Desktop: CPU - i9-14900k | Mobo - Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite AX | GPU - PNY Gaming OC RTX 5080 16GB RAM - Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB 64GB 6400mhz | AIO - Arctic Liquid Freezer III 360mm | PSU - Corsair RM1000X | Case - Hyte Y40 - White | Storage - Samsung 980 Pro 1TB Nvme /  Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus 4TB Nvme / Samsung 970 EVO Plus 2TB Nvme / Samsung 870 EVO 4TB SSD / Samsung 870 QVO 2TB SSD/ Samsung 860 EVO 500GB SSD|

I think its the cpu. The motherboard claims to be ryzen 3000 ready so it should have all the older cpus usable right outside of the box. Maybe there is something wrong with the bios. I am going to check that out too.

But now i will mainly focus on the cpu and buy a troubleshoot cpu for the board.

And btw, my graphics card works fine on other systems so i dont understand why it wouldnt on mine.
