high fps in games like CSGO can improve input lag, since higher frames means more input per second, so more accurate mouse movement and aiming and stuff, even if you can't see the difference. though, any casual gamer won't really be able to tell.

getting a monitor with a higher refresh rate than you are able to get in games is normal, because you cannot always get a perfect 144Hz in every single game. Even with my config, 1440p 144fps isn't achievable in every game I play at max settings.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

its not, yes you are not fully talking advantage of your FPS but, higher FPS gives you better response time.

144hz is the sweet spot, 240hz is not that big of a jump but you will see improvement.
