condensation

hello there, i usualy keep my apartment windows closed so heat dosent enter but today i open all windows for a refresh, and my pc went apeshit. I realised the power source made some short like noise, open it and not seen anything rong, after a while i noticed back cover of the pc condensated like a freezer and i was like wdf!!, so my guess inside the pc was too cold and when i open windows of home all heat come in and condensated it., Pc works well after 10 mins off, i guess it dry out. Still gona change the power source.

 

My question is how i prevent this condensation, inside home is 22º or so and temps got to 25º after airing the home, my guess inside pc was below 20º. I have dehumidifier and shows 45 so its defenetly a cold pc surface with hot air from outside issue.

Warm up the PC first before opening the window. How could you manage to get the inside this much colder than outside though?

Could just be a 100% humidity kind of day. Any drop in temperature at all can cause condensation under the right circumstances.

You cannot go below room / ambient temperature unless you have some sort of extreme cooling -- not something air or water cooling that do.

Even then 22*C ~ 25*C ambient should not cause any major condensation...unless your outside temperature is REALLY high... 35, 40*C+.

i swear the back panel was like a freezer, but only the metal plate of the panel, rest i did not notice anything. My guess somthing in power sorce condensated, now works fine no strange sounds.
