You can move the second fan on the NH-D15 up, so it's not totally necessary to go for a very low-profile kit of memory. The Ripjaws V should fit fine.

Go for a 3600MHz CL16 kit if you just want to enable XMP and be done with it, or go for a 3200MHz CL14 Samsung B-die kit if you're looking to tinker a little bit. You should be able to get that to 3600MHz without doing much to the timings, with just a small voltage bump.

Also, at that price point I'd rather go for the B550 Tomahawk, instead of the TUF X570-Plus. I'd suggest you consider that as well.

Desktop: Intel Core i9-9900K | ASUS Strix Z390-F | G.Skill Trident Z Neo 2x16GB 3200MHz CL14 | EVGA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER XC Ultra | Corsair RM650x | Fractal Design Define R6

Laptop: 2018 Apple MacBook Pro 13"  --  i5-8259U | 8GB LPDDR3 | 512GB NVMe

Peripherals: Leopold FC660C w/ Topre Silent 45g | Logitech MX Master 3 & Razer Basilisk X HyperSpeed | HIFIMAN HE400se & iFi ZEN DAC | Audio-Technica AT2020USB+

Display: Gigabyte G34WQC

dont you have more trade offs with the b550 boards compared the the x570 ? plus the both are the same price at the moment i feel id lose more going toward the b550

so the ripjaws i seen was great just time scale of the ram getitng to me would put the build back longer when im looking to get it going now ideally

Unless for some reason you need PCIe 4.0 lanes from the chipset, then no, you're really not losing a whole lot by going with B550.

Also, the B550 Tomahawk actually has even better power delivery than the TUF X570.

didnt know it had better power delivery may be a better choice on that point

considering pcie4.0 isnt a factor for me at the moment

would crucial ballistix 3600mhz cl16 https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B083VNMP87?tag=pcp0f-21&linkCode=ogi&th=1 work fine in terms of timings and such ?

That kit looks like a solid choice.
