Heya all. Hope yall are keeping safe. I recently decided to give my cpu and graphics more voltage in XTU on my laptop and I noticed when I ran a stress test it shows my laptop is power throttling. Is this something I should be worried about? Also would there be any benefit if I put the cpu volatge back to normal and left the graphics voltage higher? My laptop has an Intel Core i5 7200u with integrated graphics

It wouldn't really surprise me that a laptop would throttle itself (either because of power constraints or thermal constraints). You shouldn't be worried about it. I will recommend, though that you just set i back to stock if you arent getting performance boost out of it.

Please mention or quote me if you want a response. :)

Your laptop isn't designed to supply voltages above Intel's specifications. and why are you increasing the voltage anyways ? You can't overclock in any way, so you are wasting energy and releasing more heat for no real benefit. Reset your voltage overrides.

How about the graphics voltage though?

There is no benefit of increasing it. Your laptop's BIOS doesn't allow it anyways that's why you see "Power Throttling" in XTU. Your frequencies won't change.
