1x 8pin power cable and 1x 6pin power cable

OR replace 8pin power cable with 2+6pin power cable, sometimes they come split for better compatibility

you don't have a case listed or a motherboard make or model

We don't know if your machine takes a regular power supply

@Leemburns

1st one: Motherboard power

2nd one: CPU power

the rest: IO devides (HDD, SSD, USB)

You DO NOT have cables for an external GPU

Your PSU is severally outdated and probably underpowered, get a new one. To drive a 970 you don't need more than 400W of PSU.

But I would get a 550W PSU and keep it once you upgrade your system.

I hope this helps

So this does mean I have to get a new power supply and if I don’t I can’t hook my gpu up?

https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/best-psus,4229.html

Choose one from this list. I vouch that they run elaborate tests to determine which PSU are good and which aren't.

Shoot a like my way as well, or mark one of my replies as "mark as solved" so people know no more commenting is needed
