Sli build

Hi there! I want to do a sli build with my 1070 ti mini and just wanna know if I need another 1070 ti mini or I can use a regular sized 1070 ti

why do you need sli ?

for gaming ? then don't 

it doesnt scale well and does not give you a lot if any performance gains

Yea it was going to be for gaming but if there is little to gain in performance then I guess I’ll abandon the idea. Ty for the input!

if you already have a 1070 ti and you have the money to get another one maybe hold on to your 1070 ti and when nvidia's rtx 3000 gets released sell your 1070 ti and use the money you have from the 1070 ti you sold and the 1070 ti you planned on buying and get a 3070 or a 3080 cause sli is beyond dead now and in some games you can even lose fps...

if i was in your place i would hold on to the 1070 ti for at least 4 or 5 years since its a strong and good card for the long run but that's really up to you
