Windows Transferring Question

Apollo Refugio

Is there a way I can only transfer windows boot up files to an SSD? My friend said to use macrium reflect but I don't want to transfer my entire drive, because my SSD is only 240 gb while the drive with windows on it has 560 GBs being used. Or is it best to just get fresh windows? I haven't had fresh windows in a while anyway.

I believe you can. If the files you dont want to transfer are on a different partition, you should be able to skip that partition in some of the advanced cloning software ie. acronis.

At me or quote me, I want to hear your opinion.

Hopefully anything I say is factually correct. Sorry for any mistakes in advanced.

Just do a fresh install then and transfer over the files you want onto the SSD.
