Unable to precisely overclock RAM

Hello forum! 

I'm having an issue , to start I'm not a super skilled overclocker so please dont throw laughs at me.

I wanted to overclock my Ram to 3200 without using XMP profile , because XMP is super unstable with my setup. Used Ryzen DRAM calculator to calculate the numbers I need for manual overclock. Entered BIOS settings switched to manual mode and started to enter all values needed and stopped at the start with tRCDWR value because the value itself is Odd [10.625] but in BIOS when I try to enter this value it hits me with the auto option or straight [11] I'm unable to save the original [10.625]. What should I do and what can I do ?

Setup:

Ryzen 5 2600X

Gigabyte X470 Aorus ultra gaming

Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200 [Hynix AFR rank 1] 2x8GB

Can't try 11 because it's not the only value that will be off , 90% of values will be off , if I'll cut them to solid numbers

round up. I had no luck with the dram calculator, had to fiddle around for a while before I found that it made little difference, some issue with memory latency, googling I found a lot of reported issues on zen like I was having, so stuck to just changing the main timings and the speed to 3600.
However you go about it, I'd suggest punching in the speed and main timings to make sure that's stable before messing with subtimings

I used Ryzen DRAM Calc as a guide - in the end it was my tinkering that gets 3600mhz stable on first gen Ryzen (which has a CPU memory controller of max 2666mhz)

 

FYI just because your board can handle 3200mhz doesn't mean the CPU can (it technically cant, its a max 2933mhz CPU memory controller).  So continue dialing things in, try, fail, rinse repeat until you find what your board and CPU can manage that is beyond the threshold of the specs.
