Hey Everyone,

I have the ASUS ROG strix G531GT running on the BIOS version 306. I am trying to boot up from USB but the usb is not listing up on boot priority options. I have already disabled the fast boot and secure boot options. Also the Legacy boot option is enabled. I cant find the CSM option in the bios anywhere. According to the ASUS website csm option is disabled for newer versions of chipsets. Can anyone help me out here please?

Legacy boot is CSM. Are you sure the USB disk is bootable?

Main: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D, Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti, 16 GB 4400 MHz DDR4 Linux - Fedora

@Harshad Mahajan Your PC does not support Legacy booting (no CSM exists). You need to use UEFI bootable media.

@TrigrH How can I use UEFI ? Can you please explain this?

use rufus default settings, if that doesn't work re-download the ISO and try again.
