XMP Profile Disables NUMA

Parts: Asrock x399 Taichi, AMD Threadripper 2950x, 4x16gb 3200mhz Corsair Vengeance LPX (in A2, B2, C2, and D2 slots)

Bios settings: Memory Interleaving - channel, XMP profile on - 3200 mhz, performance enhancer - level 3, oc mode - oc3

I'm running two windows installs (one per NUMA  node) on a Manjaro host - everything else works great.

I know it's slightly older tech now, but I've been running at 2133 for a while now because I never figured this out and it bothers me.

Now if I leave the XMP profile disabled, lstopo shows two NUMA nodes with 31 gigs each and the bios says they're running at 2133 mhz. If I enable XMP to get that 3200mhz, lstopo shows one NUMA node with 63 gigs of ram. What am I missing? Why would enabling an XMP profile force the system into UMA mode even with memory interleaving set to channel?

My understanding is that Zen+ performance is more tied to ram timings since it binds the infinity fabric speed, so running at 3200 mhz would really be ideal if I could keep both NUMA nodes!  I'd also rather keep NUMA mode if possible since that will reduce latency for my two VMs.  Though maybe the increased ram speed in UMA mode would make up for it?

Maybe manually entering the numbers of the XMP profile rather than automatically applying it will get it to work?
