Headless Linux install on old pc

I've got an old pc with a broken gpu so it just doesnt output video. Is there anyway I can turn it into an glorified raspberry pi and use it through ssh?

Full specs? Many systems won't boot without a gpu. Why not get anouther gpu, there pretty cheap.

Yes. Use another PC to install Linux, making sure you have the basics covered (ssh, Webmin) then transplant the drive into the old PC. Note that you may need 32 bit versions if the PC is really old

Depends on how the gpu is broken. If it's recognized by the bios you should be able to do what you want, otherwise the system will probably not boot.

whatever drive i have on hand

 

5% of the time it will boot normally but the other 95% it wont output video.
