PC is dead locking while idle.

I built my own PC many months ago, and all was well, there were no problems and I played whatever I wanted well, however recently if I leave it with no applications open for a few hours+ it will deadlock. I could leave Minecraft running for over 96 hours and everything would be completely responsive, but in 5 or so hours of nothing it will deadlock. If anyone has any ideas or would like a list of my hardware then let me know.
