This is a brand new build been trying to put windows on it all day but the computer will not post.

Symptoms: i click power button all works for about 2seconds and then the CPU fan kicks off for a second and then kicks back on and the GPU fans stop working the fan on the mother board also stops spinning all other fans i noticed no issues with.

Attempts to fix: cleared CMOS, took out GPU and turned it on to see if i still had the same issue(yes i did) i cannot think of anything else if i have to update bios i will but trying to avoid cause i don't want an expensive paper weight if i mess up.

@Ddtruth

Like others have stated, try reinstalling the components to make sure they are in securely.

The fans stopping on the gpu is normal when the card isn't under load. Same might be true for the motherboard one.

I would also double check the manual to ensure the memory is in the correct slots. Maybe worth trying with just one stick.

Also check if the board can do bios flashback. Might be worth trying that.
