I built my first rig 2 weeks ago (rog strix x570, 3900x, 2080 super, and 32gb 3600mhz ram) and I’ve been having ram issues. It started with some BSOD’s and I tried memtest and had over 10,000 errors and since got my ram replaced with new stuff. But even with the new stuff I’m still getting ~7 errors in memtest using stock DOCP accept for changing fclock to 1800mhz manually and changing the dram voltage to 1.4v. I’m new to this scene and don’t know a ton about bios and overclocking so I don’t know where to look next to get this resolved. Thanks for any help!!

🤔 Is your bios, operating system, and GPU drivers up to date? Do you have the latest chip set drivers for your CPU, for what that's worth? Exactly what brand of ram do you have installed?

My bios is up to date, I tried updating that before I sent the other ram back. I can double check gpu and chipset drivers. My ram is Corsair vengeance lpx (4 sticks).

🤔 I mean, if you already replaced the ram set, I'm thinking the ram slots themselves might be fucked. What motherboard do you have?

May also be a RAM compatability problem, Corsair has issues with that compared to others that I've seen. If the exact sticks by name and model aren't listed on the board's QVL from the manufacturer you may have problems with it.

My board is a asus rog strix x570-e. I’ll also add that just a few minutes ago I had back to back blue screens (less then 3 minutes between them) and I didn’t change any settings. I was still on the DOCP settings with voltage upped to 1.4 and fclock manually set to 1800mhz. To add even more, I was using these exact setting all afternoon with 0 blue screens. I’ve since turned off DOCP to try and stop blue screens until I have something new to give a shot.

I’ve checked this and didn’t find my exact ram on the qvl list. There was plenty of Corsair stuff on there but not this exact model. I’ve read that this can cause problems but I’ve also read it’s kinda garbage. It’s just a list of all the things the tried, so that doesn’t mean other things won’t work or can’t work, just that they didn’t try it. I don’t want to sound angry through that, but that’s what I’ve gathered through qvl searching.
