OK so this may sound stupid but I put my old hard drive running vista into my my so that I could get some Minecraft worlds of it and when I booted it wouldn't recognise my mouse or keyboard then I booted into windows using my ssd but with the vista drive attached. That worked fine and I moved the files over to my ssd and shut down. After disconnecting my vista drive and putting all my normal drives in I tried to boot but it wouldn't post at all. I spent about an hour trying to see if I had unplugged something and trying different combinations of drives but nothing worked so I cleared my CMOS and my computer posts but only to my via monitor and it won't get past the windows loading screen on top of that my motherboard BIOS has become a corrupted mess of text on top of each other so on I have also tried to remove the CMOS battery but to no avail. If anyone knows any potential fixes other than a bios flash that would be appreciated as I really don't want to have to risk spending more money on a new motherboard.

also my hardware is a rizen 5 2600x

gtx 1070ti 16gb ram

msi b450m PRO VDH

The only thing I can think of is to re-flash the bios with the latest version (even if you have the latest version).

The other option is to remove and reseat the GPU and memory.  Remove any drives that aren't needed for booting.  You can boot into bios without any drives installed.
