GPU fans 100% on startup

Kanda
Go to solution Solved by Manos,

Not 100% but i think it is normal. 1 reason could be during posting the gpu cant monitor temps and its goes in a thermal protective mode, the other reason can think is that some gpus at first the spin the fans from the opposite direction to expel dust from the fins(msi did this first if I remember correctly but maybe others are implementing this feature). Check your gpu manual to be sure

Hi

Since that clip, I've updated to the lastest BIOS but nothing changed except the fans seem to run wild for a bit longer

How do I fix this ?

I don't think there really is anything to fix.  This seems totally normal to me.  Every GPU I've ever had does this.

My 2060 Super does the same thing 100% fan on boot, after the post it slows down.

Heck my Vega 56 stays loud and wild all the way until the windows login screen.

AMD R7 3700X

Aorus A530 Elite WIFI

Bequiet Shadow Rock 3

EVGA RTX 2060 Super

I'm starting to think it might be normal too but I'll be contacting Asus just to make sure

Thank you all for taking the time
