Old gpu cause input lag

So I had a problem recently. I have constant input lag or mouse delay. Tried different mice, still same. Can the problem be that my gpu are getting old and since my main monitor is connected to my gpu it can cause latency or delay?

It strikes me as unlikely at best.  The common culprit is software.

I just got a new motherboard and cpu, reinstalled windows to. And the problem is on both my monitors. Which are connected to my gpu. So seems unlikely it’s anything else as I can tell

And the problem persisted through these changes?

Is any of the loaded software still the same?

 It being on both monitors wouldn’t imply anything unless the monitors were connected to different GPUs and it only happened on one.  Even then it might still be a software issue though it would mean it was related to the driver of that gpu.

i mean for the most part it should not 

are you getting bad fps ? 

maybe your referring to frame time ? 

specs ? and is it a bottleneck ?

No FPS are always over 144, haven’t tried older gpu drivers maybe that’s it. But I reset absolute everything in bios to windows. I got a 1070 8gb, i7 9700k, 8 gb ram and a gigabyte z390
