16gb ram ddr4 3000mhz

ryzen 5 3600 oc @4.2ghz (GIGABYTE ATC800 RGB COOLER)

MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX

CoolerMaster MB520 TG case with 3 front fans and 1 rear fan.

Corsair TX650M PSU

Cod mw is on Seagate barracuda 2TB HDD

Windows 10 V.1909 on Samsung 970 evo plus ssd

GPU temps 60-70

CPU temps 60-65

No background apps except RTX VOICE and Discord and Razer Synapse which even if i turn them all off they dont affect fps.

i get around 120-160 fps never drops below 100 always above 100 but it does sometimes drop to like 110 or 115. texture resolution and texture filter anisotropic are both high everything else is low or off except AA i set it to SMAA1x.

everyone on yt gets higher fps with the same specs like this guy for example. he uses stock speeds on his 2080S like me and 4.2ghz on cpu like me but somehow on higher settings gets higher fps. even if i try the same settings like him i dont get the same fps he gets what could be the reason?

these benchmark videos don't account for things like background tasks, and you should expect 1% lows when you're in a more taxing situation like in the middle of a fire fight

Run a resource manager that isn’t task manager

or

Just give up and have fun, you’re within margin of error and this last step is the part I’ve seen others pull their hair out in frustration.

Edit: reread your initial post, try dropping some settings to medium, you’ll get a huge improvement there if you know what to turn off.

im a bit paranoid when it comes to stuff like this. anyways i think im not really underperforming maybe its just a different driver the guy was using or a different game version
