here's a mock-up of a black ps5, and a picture of the dev kit, just to show you what better things we could have gotten. also i have a theory, i think that the digital and regular ps5 will cost the same amount, but the digital will have more storage with the money that they saved on a 4K BlueRay optical drive. tell me which picture looks the best to you and any theories that you might have i liked the dev kit when it leaked and still love it to this day

that looks so nice. White, on the other hand, will inevitably turn brown in a couple years.

Still, the optical drive is such a small percentage of the production cost, it isn't going to justify any storage increase. And if they did do that, it would just end up the same price as the disc version most likely. At that point, what is the point? Most people wouldn't be willing to sacrifice the disc drive for a little extra storage, they would just go with the optical drive version and plan to plug in external storage when the need arises.
