Skype increase webcam FPS

I'm trying to increase the FPS of my webcam in Skype, since the default is 15 and my webcam can do 30. It was possible to edit the config.xml file, but that changed with Skype 8. Is there still a way to get more FPS?

You want Skype to transmit more data?  Over the immensely clogged internet?  I think this may not solve the problem you hope to solve.

AFAIK Skype changes settings based on what your network can do.

skype dynamically caps the framerate depending on network usage. also, your webcam might drop frames if it's compensating for lighting.
