cpu temp checking

can i check the oldest model of celeron temps on prime 95?(that would be the 1.7GHZ model)

I would think so. As long as the motherboard has temperature sensors.

 

but, I wouldn't worry about checking temps on such a weak chip. No way that thing could over heat

Probably is all i can say because all modern processors (yes its still a modern processor) have temperature monitors

I'm sure it does, but it probably doesn't even get hot enough under full load to have to worry
