Printer is canceling the queue

Hey guys

 

somehow - no matter which file - I want to print, my printer puts the file into the queue and just deletes it from there.

I tried to set it as default printer, put it into another USB port but nothing helped.

Does anyone know what to do?

This problem occures since the latest Win 10 update.

Make sure that what you're trying to print and the print settings are the same when it comes to the document's size.

In other words, check the document's size, if it's A4, then make sure that the printer is set to print in A4.

 

I've had problems with documents being letter sized, but I was trying to print in A4.

Did you check the page layout?

For me, it was set to letter by default.

Print>page setup (should be at the bottom left), then click on size.

Yes, everywhere on A4. Still nothing happens. The file gets into printer queue and after few seconds it gets deleted.

What printer do you have?

If this has been going on since the latest windows update, then did you try updating the driver?

Brother MFC 250. No I didn't try to update the printer yet. I will try now.

Tried out everything and nothing is working. A friend of mine has the same problem since the new Windows 10 update.

I updated today again and now the printer is at least shown again. But when I try to print it wants to save the file as pdf and not print.

When choosing a printer while printing, one of the options is "print to pdf" or something like that. 

Click the list and select your printer.

I changed it now but not it still does not work

If the model that you have is old, then there's a small chance that it might not be supported, seeing as your friend has the same issue.

 

I suggest contacting their support services directly.
