My current motherboard is an Asus z170-Deluxe. When I go on PcPartPicker and add my whole set-up it says under

 

"Fractal Design Meshify S2 ATX Mid Tower Case has a front panel USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type C port that can connect to the Asus Z170-DELUXE ATX LGA1151 Motherboard USB 3.2 Gen 1 header. A separate USB 3.2 Gen 1 to USB 3.2 Gen 2 header adapter will be required."

 

Now, I have been trying to find a "USB 3.2 Gen 1 to USB 3.2 Gen 2 header adapter" but I can't seem to find one. Would one of those nodes work from Corsair?

The cases front io has a usb-c port, but the motherboard doesn’t have a plug to support it. 
 

it has nothing to do with water cooling.

so where do I get a USB 3.2 Gen 1 to USB 3.2 Gen 2 header adapter? Still need the answer to my question.
