Mac and bootcamp.

 I don't have a mac now and im planning to buy one but my IT school says that the course im taking requires software that can only run on windows. Im planning on using bootcamp but is it free? Thanks! Also are there any limitations, like isit exactly the same as windows.

Bootcamp comes standard on all macs. Mine has it too. Even though I do not use it. There. I said it. I use Mac OSX too.

Yes Bootcamp is free.

 

 

There is the "Bootcamp Assistant" which is run while you are in OS X.  It helps you partition your drive for bootcamp and prepares you for the Windows Install.

 

After you have bootcamp partition with Windows installed on it, while booted into Windows, you will install/update to the latest Apple Bootcamp drivers (for the apple specific devices, ie. keyboard, gpu, trackpad, etc).

 

 

All that is free, except for the windows product itself.
