New Microsoft Office

Is it me or is the new Microsoft office dog shit like you have to open it in a chrome tab which is slower than just using the actual program in your desktop and that you now have limited features which used to be free included with your product key for windows. Microsoft 365 has cucked me because i don't want to pay that much just to write my school work out. In my opinion it's just another Microsoft cash grab to appeal to people who work from home.

Your school does not use office for email and stuff? If they do you can get it for free.

There are free alternatives that you can try, most of them can read/be read by Microsoft apps, but some don't support a few features only found in office.

Freeoffice, libreoffice, wps office, etc., are free and work on Windows.

Office has never been free with Windows.

The free office online only runs in the browser yes. It has basic functions

As said, you can prob get something through your school. Or if any family member has Office 356 they can share it with you.

There is a reason it is called an organization

the definition of a company is:

If you are thinking of word processor included with Windows, that was WordPad. Though if you have bought laptop or prebuild, those did have Office basic edition bundled back with Win98 and XP days. Haven't really seen that happening since then.
