I just got a 2060 super from Newegg, I have a msi z170a pro mobo, powered by a cx600m. So I installed the 2060, and was super excited. Started to play deliver us the moon, came with the gpu, and wanted to test the card. Game starts goes through an intro vid and then crashes and reboots the pc when the vid is over, I think? I think the psu is going out, hope not, maybe just not enough power from the one connector? but the psu has 2 6+2 gpu connectors, tried both still reboots. I have a dual 6pin to 8 pin adapter, can I safely use it on the 6+2s to add power to the gpu? The 6+2s are on the same rail.

You always want to connect all of the power plugs. They added it there because the power provided by one 6+2 port is not enough, and you're actually harming the GPU by running it with 1 port. You don't need an adapter.
