I'm looking into getting a UPS, but have no idea where to start. I'm in the UK so it'll be 230V in, if that matters. I'm not looking for super long lifetime, just enough to save and quit anything.

Also, the system will draw about 500W at load, but I'm looking to SLI in the future

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X - CPU Cooler: Deepcool Castle 240EX - Motherboard: MSI B450 GAMING PRO CARBON AC

RAM: 2 x 8GB Corsair Vengeance Pro RBG 3200MHz - GPU: MSI RTX 3080 GAMING X TRIO

This could be just a difference in local colloquialisms, but I can tell you're talking about a PSU. Some of the best power supplies i know are made by the following: XFX, Corsair, and Seasonic. Seasonic is a preferred brand by many enthusiasts (they also make XFX PSUs) due to high build quality and warranty, The main concerns when picking out a power supply should be to find a good balance of capacity and efficiency. If your system will actually draw 500W (Which is a pretty high real world draw for an average PC) then you should buy at least a 650W PSU. In your case you should by looking into the 800+W range due to the need for future SLI expansion. It also depends on the cards you are SLIing (2 780ti's will obviously draw more than 2 750s. 80+ efficiency should always be a priority when buying a PSU. I would recommend at least Bronze level, but any 80+ is better than not 80+.
