Hey y'all
I'm a complete noob when it comes to PC-builds and was more versed concerning software and stuff, but was inspired by LTT to actually start doing research, build some PCs myself and start tinkering around. Some weeks ago, I bought my own hardware for the first time instead of going through scrap yards. The build consists of this:

  • ASUS ROG Strix B450-F Gaming
  • Cooler Master MasterBox Lite 5
  • Corsair Vengeance LPX (4 x 16 GB)
  • Samsung 970 EVO Plus
  • KFA2 GeForce GTX 1650 Super EX
  • Corsair RM650x
  • AMD Ryzen 7 3700X

I setup a windows 10 Pro on it and am quite happy with most of it. I initially had some issues with temps that were resolved after a remount of the cooler and some new thermal paste.

Today for the first time, I had problems turning on the system. Initially, it started up and showed me the windows log-in screen, but immediately crashed. It automatically rebooted, showed me the NVidia post message, but immediately rebooted again. After 2 attempts, it finally started up properly.

Since day one, I have seen that I had some ridiculous BIOS-time of an average of 25 seconds. I always assumed that this was an error because the system always seemed to start up quickly. Since the remounting of the CPU, I did feel the speed decrease tho. Is it possible that I messed something up?

I have already checked the Volume and it is formatted as a GPT. I have also checked the autostart tasks, all that I didn't disable seem to be relevant. Should I consider a clean install? Or is it possible that I messed up some hardware?

I thank you very much for your help!

@Lemon797 running it at 2133 MHz. It's really odd, but I think I might have made some mistakes in the BIOS. Cause I keep trying to prevent it from doing MEM tests, but it seems to do them anyways.... Maybe i should reset the BIOS settings and start again. Thanks for your help!
