Hello.
im having some problems with my PC where the screen goes black and Mouse + Keyboard turns off. when this happens i cant turn it off using the power button on the case..

It also struggles with boot where the same happens before i can see the post screen. When the PC will boot. it lets me logg into Windows and it runs for a bit. then all black again.

it was running a few hours ago. all i did was add a network card (no problem after the hardware addon) but i installed the driver. and about 10 - 15 min later it goes all black..

When i push the power button to turn it on the GPU lights up same with the CPU Cooler.

I have tried to remove ram and at it back one at a time, same result. i did a reseat of the GPU aswell.. but still no luck..  right now its not having the network card installed anymore. but i cant uninstall the driver if that might be causing the problem..

any help would be great!

So if it was working fine before the driver, go into device manager and find the network card. Right click the advice and click "Uninstall driver"

The problem there is that it wont turn on or last long enough for me to get to device manager..
Should a driver prevent the system to show a post screen?

No, that's not normal. It should be able to post with a bad driver. You can try and boot into safe mode or off of a USB stick. Failing that, it's a hardware issue. You can try clearing CMOS.

Just tried a cmos clear and still stuck on black screen without any KB+M lights.. :/

You don't have anything overclocked do you?  Ram test with Memtest86 maybe?  How about the scannow function?  Have you tried that?

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/929833/use-the-system-file-checker-tool-to-repair-missing-or-corrupted-system

Maybe that will help, got nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Good luck, be safe and have a nice weekend.
