Laptop Cooling

Tea1337

So I have my sager NP7330 on my laptop chugging away, problem is, it's pretty damn hot on my lap. I know it isn't meant for the lap but I do what I want. So I have come up with the idea to get a USB laptop cooling pad. Found some online but they are cheap and have like 5 cfm, so I'd like something more beefy that is at or under $35.

The laptop is pretty new and it's already been cleaned out. With a i7-4700mq and a GTX 765 it get's quite warm while playing minecraft

So you're literally resting it on your lap then? There's a good chance you're blocking airflow. A gaming laptop needs all the air it can get. You should use it on a solid surface at the very least.

I have it positioned so that the vent is getting good air flow, i'd just like to have it in a better position on my lap

Gaming laptop = solid surface, at least to me. Plugged in as well.
