Okay, with all my years of building computers i have never encountered a CPU that worked perfectly fine for 5 days and just completely stopped working. I can definitely confirm it is in fact the CPU as all other components work fine after testing in my test bench.

I working with a ryzen 3600x, and before i go and grab a new one i just want another option of seeing if i can test the CPU another way.

MB shows no errors, currently waiting for a buzzer to come in and see if it beeps any error codes.

Let me know what you guys think.

Clear CMOS, check the socket for obstructions. You said the RAM's good, so no real point testing that. Are you sure all of your PSU connections, particularly the EPS connector, are connected cleanly and unobstructed? Have you tried a different PSU?

I'm assuming it just doesn't boot/doesn't power on. The only way to test the CPU and nothing else would be to run it on a different motherboard.

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.

Hey so this all originated from this original thread:

I did all your steps and the system boots fine with a Ryzen 7 1800x, BIOS is fully updated to support Ryzen 3.

Placed the 3600x in my x370 MB and that also wont boot (BIOS has also been updated). After process of elimination has to be the CPU, as we say its never the CPU until it is.

Sometimes it is the CPU, especially with PGA chips. Can you RMA it?
