Reset to Device, \Device\RaidPort0, was issued

PatrickS

Hello!

I have been having some issues as of recent with my rig freezing for about a minute, HDD light goes solid and things will lock up. Reviewing the Event Viewer, each time it has happened I find the event "Reset to Device, \Device\RaidPort0, was issued" Source : iaStorAC Event ID: 129

Most often it has happened randomly while having various Chrome Windows, Teams, Jabber, Slack and other lightweight programs open.

Things I have tried:

BIOS and MSI board driver updates

graphics driver updates

Dust rig and check cable connections

Intel Support Assist driver updates

sfc /scannow and chkdsk /r

Adjust power options and disable fast boot

Any ideas as to what might be causing this? At this point I am willing to swap the OS drive for the spare NVMe I have, though I was sort of hoping to use it in my new laptop.

My rig:

Windows 10 Pro

MSI B250m Gaming Pro

i5-7600k

16GB RAM

Nvidia GTX 1660Ti

OS Drive: 256GB LITEON CV3-CE256 SSD

Data drive: WD 3TB SATA

Thanks!
