New GPU or CPU for VR?

Hey Guys! I need help,

 

I am currently in the process of upgrading and was wondering what to buy first,

 

I currently have a Ryzen 7 1700X and will upgrade to a Ryzen 5 3600 for ~£90 and a GTX 1070 upgrading to a RTX 2070 for ~£320.

 

Which should I upgrade first to see a better performance increase especially in VR titles like blade & sorcery (I currently just hover around 90fps dipping when things get hectic)

If you are getting 90fps already with your current cpu, I would do gpu first. Although now is not a good time for an upgrade since both new Nvidia and AMD stuff will come out later this year, both with substantial improvements over current gent.

I'm on a bit of a budget so I think these are pretty good prices and they will last years to come
