Trident Z Neo on Intel?

I need a Ram upgrade and I’m considering getting Trident Z RGB. There are some deals on Trident Z Neo which pretty much has the same specs but it is branded as “for AMD.” As far as I can tell, it’s just RAM, so does this really mean anything or is it just marketing for when Ryzen chips needed high speed and low CL ram? Basically, will it work perfectly fine on my current motherboard and with my i7 6700K?

Gah. One of those Damned if you do, Damned if you don't.

If the timings and voltage are identical to a matching set that doesn't say "for amd", then it's just DDR4 memory... which it might or might not be. In the DDR3 days, they did make Specific kits that would only boot on either manufacturer.

Its more or less just marketing and keeping timings Ryzen friendly, though they seem to match the regular Trident Z according to there websitie. I would imagine it would be fine in a Intel build.
