I am looking to have a light, small PC that I can take with me on my trips around the world.  I move to a different country every year or two and am wanting to have a PC that can travel with me.  One thought I had was to purchase a PSU each time I move, so that the weight is less.  I am a complete Noob on this so am really interested to find out what potentials there are.  I also play on using a TV as my monitor or purchase a monitor in whatever country i'm in.   Thank you for all the help with this.

Budget (including currency): as inexpensive as possible

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Fusion 360, Slic3r, NMS, Division 2

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): No idea

Welcome to the forum!

Do not purchase a PSU every time you move. the PSU is supposed to be in the case and it would be a pain.

Why not use a laptop?

Currently I use a Lenovo Flex 5, i7, Gaming/Business laptop.  My concern is that it gets too hot - I've put fans on it to try and get better cooling, but I don't find this ideal.  Also, I have had to switch over and use Nvidia's game streaming platform to compensate for my graphics card for a few games.

PSU Switch -

Thanks for the welcome.  I'm concerned with overal size of the machine and weight, and am completely open to suggestions.

I recently watched Linus Tech's uber small build and liked the size of it but was concerned with the compression of everything into such a small shell and am curious to the overall weight.

- Thank you both for such prompt responses.

i would still suggest a laptop. there are quite a few good choices on the market, none of which are going to overheat under normal conditions.
