I would recommend you plasti-dip it though

 

same instructions, different paint and finish. 

 

I might dip my Gigabyte shroud.

Do you know if Vinyl would work or would it be better to go paint

I would personally prefer plastidip. Vinyl will end up leaving sticky residue, and would probably end up deforming since it's on the GPU shroud.
