Hi all so when I open like an explorer window on Windows 10 it sometimes hangs massively, for a few seconds but most of the time its literally instant. Im not sure what could be causing this but I assume it will be a HDD issue.

Yeah, that can happen if you have the drives set to go to sleep to save power after some time of inactivity. If you don't want that, you can turn that power saving feature off in Windows.

Brilliant thank you that will probably be it, it was on 20 minutes have turned it to like 2000 minutes now so hopefully that sorts it.
