If you don't need PCIe 4.0, B450 is great. If you're gaming, you don't need PCIe 4.0.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

DMI 4 won't do you alot

B450 for the most will most likely support zen 3

If you need a system right now just go for b450

If you can wait for b550 that won't be bad either

Depends on which board you want. The MSI B450 Tomahawk Max is going to support 1 more CPU Generation, B550 will support more. Idk if any other B450 boards besides the Max series from MSI are promising updated BIOS for next gen Ryzen CPUs. B550 will be more expensive tough and will not Change much of anything else. Only the PCIe 4.0 Thing @Fasauceome mentioned is the other difference.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.
