$1500 pc gaming build.. would like some critique

MxRider9637

Hello everyone ive been researching this build for about a month now and im pretty certain that this is what i want to get and i feel happy with it..

I want you guys thoughts on it...

Im going with the swiftech because i do plan on doing a custom loop down the road so i can just tap off of that.

Yes i know the ram is not needed that i could get by with a ddr3-1600 but this is a great deal so i cant pass it up..

Any thoughts guys???

Heres the build- http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2ZroO

That RAM realistically isn't going to be any faster than the 1600mhz RAM. It has a higher latency.

I'd go with a different power supply, and grab the 780 from EVGA B Stock as you'll save about $150 and get a better card.

I'd go with Seasonic first and Corsair second.

XFX has some nice ones as well.

On the EVGA website there's a B Stock section. They don't come with any accessories, only have a one year warranty but they're loads cheaper. Most enthusiasts would upgrade before the warranty is over, and if it lasts longer than that I doubt it'd fail anyway.

Another forum member had told me the v700 psu has seasonic internals which it does and it also comes with a better fan..

I have no clue what a microcenter is

MicroCenter is a local electronic store that has store in multiple states.

Location: http://www.microcenter.com/site/stores/default.aspx

Pricing: http://www.microcenter.com/product/413251/Core_i5_4670K_34GHz_Socket_LGA_1150_Boxed_Processor

and I agree with going with 780 or even 770, the fps you gain isn't worth the money you spend, unless you don't care :)

The memory will be faster than DDR3-1600MHz CAS 9. Keep it.

I like your choices. Post some pictures. The 760T case is intriguing.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

I would go with 8GB @1600mhz ram because you won't get a noticable performance increase with the higher clocked ones especially in gaming. And personally i would go with a cheaper motherboard and use the money you save on both to buy an I7 4770(k). apart from that it's a solid build.
