MODEL O firmware

Im currently trying to fix my model o i have a sensor error and the only fix i am seeing online is to update the firmware to 1.0.9 but i am already on that so i cant reinstall it, it wont let me so i was wondering if anyone knows how to reset the firmware or just flash it to have nothing at all then i can just install and older firmware because for some reason they dont let me downgrade the firmware!!!
