I need help on gpu

I want to play 1440p and the monitor I would like to get is 1440p 144hz so would like to get FPS close to that.  I plan on playing current AAA games like rdr2 modern warfare and stuff like that

Wait for next gen cards. RDR2 is too punishing.

yep, this. 

 

theres never a bad time to buy cards, theres just always a worse time to buy them, and right now would be one of the worst imo, coronavirus, next gen cards soon, it would not be worth it to cash out on a 2070 now just to realize the 3070 smacks it.

stuff is cool. stuff that has fancy lighting is cooler. stuff that has fancy lighting and works is the coolest.

 

i game so i know a bit abt gaming tech, not much abt professional tech.

 

writing this as i finish a 3 hour D2 sesh so excuse anything wrong.
