GPU Problem with PC games

Alps240

Hi Everyone, I am having trouble with my GTX 1060 6gb and is causing many problems. First off, it starts to flicker in game during loading screens and frame rate is not smooth with gsync when it hits under 90 fps. Any help would be greatly appreciated and also the time I bought this graphics card it was used probably should have gone with a new one. Second, gsync does not start up for the first time when I turn on my PC, generally I have to restart it again to get gsync to work. I'm currently saving to buy a new GTX 1080 to play games at high settings with 144+ FPS if possible

My rig

i7 6700K @4.5 GHZ

GTX 1060 6gb GIGABYTE

16 GB RAM

1 TB HDD

120 GB SSD

EVGA Bronze 750 Watt PSU

I got a brand new monitor which is the ACER Predator XB241H, clearly could not be the problem

You will have to DDU and try older drivers. If you are trying to use a Freesync monitor with G-sync, a lot of the flickering issues have to do with your GPU and driver compatibility. You will notice it will come and go with driver updates and every driver update I have seen, has someone complaining "my g sync not working and flickering". Those who are unlucky have to roll back to previous drivers and try again when the next drivers roll out.

EDIT: But you have a G sync monitor so I am confused why this issue is happening lol. I thought it only happens to use freesync monitor users.

If the cable was the problem then it wouldn't just happen in games and other problems would occure other ths stutters
